German iron ore import prices drop again in February

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in February this year the import price of iron ore decreased by 8.3 percent year on year in Germany, while it was down 1.5 percent as compared to January this year. In January, the same percentage year-on-year change was recorded in the German import price of iron ore.
In February, the average import price of pig iron, steel and ferroalloys in Germany fell by 7.6 percent year on year, while it increased by 1.3 percent compared to the previous month.
