German industrial output up 3.1 percent in Nov over Oct

In November last year, the price, calendar and seasonally adjusted industrial production in Germany increased 3.1 percent compared to the previous month, according to the preliminary data released by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

According to the ministry's report, production decreased by 1.7 percent in the construction sector in November, while intermediate goods manufacturers increased their production by 1.2 percent, output of consumer goods rose by 1.8 percent and output of capital goods moved up by 5.1 percent, all compared to the previous month.
