Meanwhile, in September
Germany's total hot rolled steel product output amounted to 3.11 million metric tons, increasing 1.7 percent year on year, including 1.94 million metric tons of flat steel products - up 2.4 percent year on year, and 1.17 million metric tons of long steel products - up 0.6 percent year on year.
In the first nine months of the year, the country's hot rolled steel output increased by 1.9 percent to 28.18 million mt, consisting of 18.46 million metric tons of flat steel products - up 1.2 percent year on year, and 9.7 million metric tons of long steel products - rising by 3.3 percent year on year.
