German construction industry output up 0.5 percent in Dec over Nov

In December last year, the price, calendar and seasonally adjusted industrial production in Germany decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous month, according to the preliminary data released by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

According to the ministry's report, production increased by 0.5 percent in the construction sector in December, while intermediate goods manufacturers increased their production by one percent, output of consumer goods rose by 0.9 percent and output of capital goods moved down by 2.5 percent, all compared to the previous month.
