Gerdau to launch Indian plant by October

Brazil steelmaker Gerdau is likely to open a new plant in the city of Tadipatri, in Anantapur, India by October this year, reports said.

A delegation from the Brazilian company visited India and discussed their expansion plans for the mill.

The Andhra Pradesh plant is Gerdau’s first investment in Asia.
