Fushun Special Steel posts reduced net profit for January-June

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Fushun Special Steel Co. (Fushun Special Steel), a subsidiary of Dongbei Special Steel Group, has announced that it recorded an operating revenue of RMB 2.773 billion ($0.43 billion) in the January-June period of the current year, while it posted a net profit of RMB 59.588 million, down 42.7 percent year on year.

In the first half of the year, the company produced 317,000 mt of crude steel and 270,300 mt of finished steel, up 13.0 and 15.0 percent year on year, respectively.
