Fushun Special Steel posts increased net profit for first half

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Fushun Special Steel Co., a subsidiary of Dongbei Special Steel Group, has issued its financial results for the first half of this year, announcing an operating revenue of RMB 2.813 billion ($0.457 billion), up 1.49 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 14.48 million ($2.35 million), up 28.78 percent year on year.

In the given period, Fushun Special Steel produced 348,900 mt of crude steel and 287,200 mt of finished steel, almost stable compared to the outputs recorded in the same period of last year.
