French business climate still stable in June

According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate is practically stable in June 2010, after a continuous increase between April 2009 and April 2010, said France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) in a report released on June 23. However, this stabilization hides differences among economic sectors: business leaders' answers suggest an improvement in services and retail trade, while they are less optimistic on industry and building sectors.

At the same time, the turning point indicator has been in the favourable zone for one year now, after a year and a half in the unfavourable zone. This shows continuous signs of a coming recovery.
