Freight volumes on China’s waterways total 475.18 million mt in March

In March this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s waterways amounted to 475.18 million mt, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese waterways totaled 736.13845 billion mt-km, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of  Transportation (MOT).
 
In the January-March period of this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s waterways amounted to 1.38705 billion mt, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese waterways totaled 2.14905 trillion mt-km.
