In October this year, the freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 3.22 billion mt, up 6.5 percent year on year, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese roads amounted to 593.6 billion mt-km, rising by 5.6 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
In the January-October period of the current year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads totaled 28.95 billion mt, up 6.1 percent year on year, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese roads amounted to 5.2542 trillion mt-km, rising by 5.9 percent year on year.
