China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that in the January-July period of this year the overall freight volume transported on China’s airways totaled 3.66 million mt, up 4.4 percent year on year, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese airways amounted to 12.3 billion mt-km, rising by 6.4 percent year on year.
In the given period, the overall passenger volume transported on China’s airways totaled 276 million, up 10.8 percent year on year, while the passenger traffic volume amounted to 471.9 billion person-km, rising by 14.4 percent year on year.
