France's steel product export value almost stable in January-May

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-May period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €4 billion, decreasing by 0.56 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France exported €892.83  million of steel pipes and tubes - down 11.37 percent, €208.04 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 0.1 percent, €157.67 million of cold drawn wire - down 3.06 percent, €138.36 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 3.59 percent, and €318.43 million of metal structures and parts - up 8.02 percent, all compared to the same period of 2014.
