France's steel product export value almost stable in January-June

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-June period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €4.83 billion, decreasing by just 0.21 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €1.55 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 3.3 percent, €255.35 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 1.01 percent, €191.92 million of cold drawn wire - increasing by 1.27 percent, €172.18 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 0.3 percent, and €390.45 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 10.72 percent, all compared to the same period of 2014.
