France’s trade deficit up in March

France reported a trade deficit of €2.4 billion (around $3.02 billion) for March against a deficit of €1.7 billion in February. The country's exports fell from €29.14 billion in February to €28.5 billion in March. On the other hand, imports saw a slight increase from €30.84 billion in February to €30.9 billion in March. France's trade balance with the other EU countries gave a deficit of €943 million in March. In February, trade deficit was €591 million. The trade deficit with the Euro zone also rose from €1.35 billion to €1.63 million in March. France's trade balance with Japan reported a deficit of €415 million. However, the country posted a trade surplus of €159 million with the US.
