According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in 2015, France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €8.81 billion, falling by 6.64 percent year on year.
During the year in question, France exported €2.25 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 16.4 percent, €501.32 million of cold rolled steel strip - rising by 2.3 percent, €365.45 million of cold drawn wire - down by 1.8 percent, €315.41 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 3.84 percent, and €782.94 million of metal structures and parts - increasing by 11.9 percent, all compared to 2014.
