France’s monthly industrial output down 1.7 percent in June over May

According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the country's industrial production in June this year decreased by 1.7 percent month on month, following a revised month-on-month increase of 1.9 percent recorded in May. The year-on-year increase rate was registered at 7.3 percent.
 
In June, France's production in manufacture of metals and metal products declined by 1.7 percent, the production of the automotive industry decreased by 7.4 percent, while the output of the construction industry slightly improved by 0.1 percent, all compared to the previous month.
