France's metal industry output up 1.5 percent in Feb over Jan

France's manufacturing output in February this year increased by 0.3 percent month on month, according to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).
 
In February, France's production in manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, increased by 1.5 percent month on month, after a month-on-month increase of one percent in January. In February, production of the country's motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers industry saw an increase of 1.6 percent on month-on-month basis after a two percent month-on-month decrease recorded in the previous month, while the output of the domestic construction industry increased by 0.7 percent month on month in February, after a decrease of 3.2 percent in January compared to December.
