France’s construction cost index down 1.05 percent in Q4 2009

According to the data released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the country's construction cost index in the last quarter of 2009 fell 1.05 percent year on year and was slightly up by 0.33 percent over the third quarter. The highest quarterly index level in 2009 was achieved in the fourth quarter.
In the third quarter of 2009, the index had increased by 0.27 percent quarter on quarter and was down 5.77 percent year on year.
