France sees decline in crude steel output

The French Steel Federation disclosed that the country's crude steel production fell 10.1 percent year on year in June. The crude steel production also saw a 9.6 percent decline in May and 5.6 percent fall in April. For the first six months of the year, France's crude steel production fell 5.8 percent to 10.15 million metric tons. European steelmakers have recently announced production cuts due to a slump in Chinese demand for steel.
