Foreign direct investment by Chinese companies up 16.3% in Jan-Oct

In October this year, overseas foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies amounted to $7.91 billion, up 14.3 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

In the January-October period of the current year, overseas foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $95.21 billion, up 16.3 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given period, 307 new foreign projects, with investment in each project exceeding $100 million, contracted by Chinese companies were worth $108.3 billion, accounting for 72.7 percent of all new foreign contracts signed by Chinese companies.
