Forbes names NLMK owner Vladimir Lisin as Russia’s richest man

US magazine Forbes has named the owner of the Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) Vladimir Lisin as Russia's richest businessman, which also occupy the 32nd position in the magazine's list of world's billionaires released on Wednesday, March 10.

According to Forbes, Lisin's net worth is estimated at $15.8 billion.

Forbes notes that Russia has the largest number of billionaires among European countries, with its capital Moscow remaining the city second only to New York in billionaire concentration. In 2010, the number of billionaires in Russia almost doubled to 62 from 32 in 2009.
