Five north China mills decrease longs prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On November 28, the five leading mills in northern China (Shougang, Tangshan Steel, Xuanhua Steel, Tianjin Steel and Chengde Steel) announced their December prices for long products. 1. Rebar: prices for rebar have decreased by RMB 80/mt ($10). As a result of the reduction, the price of 16-25 mm diameter HRB335 rebar is now at RMB 3,000/mt ($383), that of 12-14 mm is at RMB 3,100/mt ($395), the price of 16-25 mm diameter HRB400 rebar is at RMB 3,100/mt ($395), while that of 12-14 mm is now at RMB 3,200/mt ($408). 2. Wire rod: the prices of high speed wire rod have decreased by RMB 60/mt ($8). After the change, the price of 6.5 mm diameter Q235 high speed wire rod is at RMB 3,000/mt ($383). All the above prices include taxes.
