Fire breaks out at Gerdau’s Virginia plant

Fire investigators are still determining what caused a fire at Gerdau Long Steel North America’s Dinwiddie, Virginia plant late Tuesday night.

So far, they have only determined the first started in a trash pile. Details on the extent of the damage, potential injuries, or how the fire will affect production were not available at press time.
