Ferrexpo's iron ore pellet output up 4.3 percent in Q4 from Q3

Swiss-headquartered resources company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has announced that in the fourth quarter of the current year its overall iron ore pellet production increased by 4.3 percent quarter on quarter to 2.98 million mt.

In the fourth quarter, Ferrexpo's pellet production from its own raw materials increased by 5.5 percent compared to the previous quarter, amounting to 2.95 million mt, while its pellet production from third party concentrate stood at 29,880 mt, falling 50.6 percent compared to the third quarter of this year.

Meanwhile, during the full year 2015, Ferrexpo's overall iron ore pellet production increased by 5.8 percent year on year to 11.66 million mt. The company’s pellet production from its own raw materials increased by 5.5 percent to 11.26 million mt, while its pellet production from third party concentrate increased by 14.9 percent to 403,150 mt, both compared to 2014.
