Ferrexpo’s iron ore pellet output sees rise in Q1

Swiss-headquartered resources company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has announced that in the first quarter of the current year its overall iron ore pellet production increased by 2.46 percent year on year to 2.885 million mt.

In the first quarter, Ferrexpo's pellet production from its own raw materials increased by 0.3 percent year on year to 2.723 million mt, while its pellet production from third party concentrate totaled 162,070 mt, rising 59 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
