Ferrexpo's iron ore pellet output down 8.2 percent in Q3 from Q2

Swiss-headquartered resources company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has announced that in the third quarter of the current year its overall iron ore pellet production decreased by 8.2 percent quarter on quarter to 2.6 million mt.
 
Meanwhile, in the first nine months of the current year, Ferrexpo's overall iron ore pellet production declined by four percent year on year to 8.32 million mt. The company’s pellet production from its own raw materials remained stable at 8.3 million mt, while its pellet production from third party concentrate decreased by 93.8 percent to 23,200 mt, both compared to the same period of 2015.
