Ferrexpo releases Q2 2008 production results

The UK-based company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has released its production results for the second quarter of 2008.

Accordingly, in the second quarter of 2008 Ferrexpo registered a drop of one percent year on year in its iron ore production to 7.23 million metric tons, but saw a 2.9 percent increase year on year in its concentrate production to 2.74 million metric tons.
 
Ferrexpo's total pellet production in Q2 saw a 0.2 percent increase to 2.32 million metric tons compared with the same period last year.
