Ferrexpo issues January-September production results

The UK-based company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has released its production results for the first nine months of 2008.

Accordingly, during the given period the company recorded a 0.7 percent decrease year on year in its iron ore production to 21.6 million metric tons, while its concentrate production saw a 2.8 percent increase to 8.21 million metric tons.
 
During the first nine months, Ferrexpo's total pellet production increased by 3.2 percent year on year to 7.10 million metric tons.
