According to
China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC), the country attracted $37.9 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first four months of this year and attracted $8.4 billion in April, respectively down 2.38 percent and 0.74 percent year on year.
In the January-April period, FDI from the
European Union decreased by 27.9 percent year on year, while inward investment from the
US rose by 1.9 percent compared to the same period last year. FDI from 10 Asian economies increased by 0.6 percent year on year to $33.1 billion in the first four months, the MOC said.
