Explosion in Chinese steel plant kills 13

At least 13 people were killed and another 17 were injured during an explosion on Monday, February 20 at a state-owned steel plant in northeastern China, according to media reports.
 
The explosion took place when a 10 meter wide mold exploded at a steel casting workshop belonging to state-owned Angang Heavy Machinery in Anshan, Liaoning Province.
 
Authorities indicated that investigations regarding the cause of the accident are ongoing.
