Explosion blasts through US Steel’s Lake Erie Works

A blast at US Steel Canada's Lake Erie Works in Nanticoke, Ontario, a division of US Steel that focuses on the production of hot rolled coil for the energy pipe market, caused injuries to four workers Thursday.

The explosion caused a leak and fire, however the facility remains open, and the cause of the incident is under investigation.
