Evraz ZSMK’s rolled steel shipments up 7.3 percent in first quarter

Evraz ZSMK, a Siberian steel division of steel and mining group Evraz, has announced that in the first three months this year it shipped 1.62 million mt of rolled steel products by railway, up 7.3 percent compared to the same period of last year.

In the first quarter this year, Evraz ZSMK shipped 902,000 mt of rolled steel products to the local market, up 11 percent year on year, while its export shipments amounted to 712,000 mt, up three percent year on year.
