Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate production up 2.4 percent in Q1

Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has announced that in March this year its iron ore concentrate production increased by 9.46 percent year on year at 971,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month decreased by 38.5 percent year on year to 123,000 mt.

In the January-March period of this year, Evraz UGOK saw a 2.4 percent year-on-year increase in its iron ore concentrate production to 2.8034 million mt, while its output of agglomerate in the given period declined by 40.5 percent year on year to 367,000 mt.
