Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate and agglomerate outputs rise in August

In August this year, Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, increased its iron ore concentrate production by 11.6 percent compared to August 2010, to 876,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given period increased by 45.1 percent year on year to 164,000 mt.

In the January-August period of the current year, Evraz UGOK saw a 15.2 percent growth in its iron ore concentrate production to 6.763 million mt, and a 13.6 percent increase in its agglomerate production to 1.239 million mt - both on year-on-year basis.
