Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate and agglomerate outputs rise in 2011

In 2011, Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, saw a 13 percent increase in its iron ore concentrate production to 10.139 million mt and a 14 percent increase in its agglomerate production to 1.886 million mt - both on year-on-year basis.

In December alone, UGOK produced 860,000 mt of iron ore concentrate and 180,000 mt of agglomerate - up 12 percent and 67.6 percent compared to December 2010, respectively.
