Evraz Holding reduces production

Russian steel company Evraz Holding has reported a decrease in its output in the first half of the current fiscal year. Figures indicate that the company reduced its rolled steel production by 3% to 5.9 million tons. The production was stated to be reduced in order to avoid an over-supply crisis in the domestic market as demand from China for steel products of Evraz Holding has decreased.
