Eurostat expects 2.4 percent euro area annual inflation in May

Annual inflation in the euro area is expected to be 2.4 percent in May, decreasing from the 2.6 percent recorded in April this year, according to flash estimates released by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities.

Flash estimates of Eurostat are likely to be revised, following actual data input.
