Euro area annual inflation in May estimated at 1.4 percent

Annual inflation in the euro area is expected to be 1.4 percent in May this year, up from a revised 1.2 percent in April, according to flash estimates released by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities.

Flash estimates of Eurostat are likely to be revised, following actual data input.
