EU scrap prices increase in December

According to indexes issued by the European Steel Association (EUROFER), in December last year local scrap prices in the European Union (EU) indicated a three percent increase compared to the previous month.

Meanwhile, in December significant decreases of 33 percent on average were recorded on year-on-year basis, as shown in the following table:
