EU scrap price indexes increase in January from December level

In January this year, local scrap prices in the European Union (EU) increased by 2-3 percent compared to the previous month, according to indexes issued by the European Steel Association (EUROFER).

Meanwhile, in January, decreases in the range of 13.68-14.29 percent were recorded on year-on-year basis.
