The European Commission has published an expiry notice for the antidumping duties on steel and iron tube and pipe fittings from South Korea and Malaysia. Unless a review is initiated with the request by the relevant parties, the antidumping duty will expire on October 17, 2013.

The application for the review must contain sufficient evidence that the expiry of the measures are likely to result in a continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury.

The definitive antidumping duty ranging from 44-75 percent was imposed on steel and iron tube and pipe fittings from South Korea and Malaysia in 2008.

The products covered by the investigation currently fall within CN codes ex 7307 93 11, ex 7307 93 19, ex 7307 99 30 and ex 7307 99 90.
