In January, new car registrations totaled almost 1 million units in the European Union (EU), with an increase of 6.7 percent year on year, according to the latest figures issued by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).
In January, Spain (+27.5 percent), Italy (+10.9 percent), the UK (+6.7 percent), France (+6.2 percent) and Germany (+2.6 percent) were the major EU markets which recorded increases in new car registrations on year-on-year basis.
