EU may cease AD duty on Chinese ferromolybdenum

According to the local press in China, a senior official from Eurofer (European Confederation of Iron and Steel Industries) informed that Eurofer was currently gathering the latest data on China's ferromolybednum exports to the European Union in order to scheme out a decision to review, remove or temporarily cancel the anti-dumping duty applied on China's ferromolybednum exports to the EU. It is believed that Eurofer would suggest removing the duty temporarirly for six to nine months. EU's duty on ex-China ferromolybdenum came into force in January 2002, when the price for ferromolybdenum (Mo: 65%-70%) was $95/kg (transportation included). The current ferromolybdenum price in the EU market is around $93-97/kg.
