The European Commission has announced that it has imposed an antidumping (AD) duty on welded pipe imports from Belarus, China, and Russia, while terminating the investigation for Ukraine, following an expiry review.

The expiry review application was lodged by the defense committee of the welded steel tubes industry of the European Union in September 2013, on the grounds that the expiry of the measures would be likely to result in a continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury to the EU industry.

The products subject to antidumping duty currently fall within CN codes ex 7306 30 41, ex 7306 30 49, ex 7306 30 72 and ex 7306 30 77.
