Essar Steel to supply steel plates for Saudi Aramco

Indian steel producer Essar Steel has announced that it has received an order for 13,000 mt of high quality steel plates for the Jazan oil refinery expansion project of Saudi Arabian state-owned oil and natural company Saudi Aramco.
 
Essar Steel's plate mill SBU will provide steel plates to Chicago Bridge and Iron Company for the production of boilers and pressure vessels which form an important part of the expansion project.
 
The Jazan refinery will be operational in 2016 and it is expected to process 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
