EMZ reports financial results for Q2

The group of enterprises EMZ, Ukraine, has announced the financial results for the second quarter of 2006 for Enakievsk MZ and joined Ukrainian-Swiss company Metalen. Enakievsk MZ has finished the second quarter of 2006 with the net profit of UAH 25.1 million (approx. $5.012 million). In April-June of 2006, the plant's income from sales rose 2 percent to UAH 906 million (approx. $180.9 million) compared to the first quarter of 2006. Metalen has finished the second quarter of 2006 with the net profit of UAH 88.411 million (approx. $17.656 million). In April-June of 2006, Metalen's income from sales rose 3.3 percent to UAH 1.29 billion (approx. $258.036 million) compared to the first quarter of 2006.
