SteelOrbis Shanghai Steelorbis Shanghai has learned that construction steel exports from Eastern China are continuing on a steady trend. Currently, quotations for rebar exports are maintaining the same level as previous, while wire rod export quotations are fluctuating within a range of US$ 5/mt. While some reports indicated recent increases in transportation costs by river, railway, and sea due to transport shortages domestically, international long distance transportation did not see any obvious rise. Freight from China to Europe and America is up US$ 5, and this has little impact on construction steel exports.
