Donetsk's output of crude steel increases in April

Ukrainian steelmaker Donetsk Iron and Steel Works' (Donetsk) crude steel production increased 4.8 percent month on month to 76,500 tons in April 2006. On the other hand, the plant's output of pig iron and that of finished steel products fell 7.9 percent and 7.5 percent month on month to 55,900 tons and 58,800 respectively during the same period.
