DOC reconsiders negative determinations on CR SS imports

Previously the US Department of Commerce made negative determinations of material injury on the local industry related to the imports of cold rolled stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium and Canada. However today the DOC announced reopening the case for remand investigations for this material and that it will vote on the remand determination on September 12,2002 in order to reconsider the situation. In addition imports of certain stainless steel plate from Italy, Korea, South Africa, and Taiwan will also be evaluated for determinations.
