DOC publishes preliminary results of AD review on OCTG from South Korea
The US Department of Commerce (DOC), in response to requests by domestic parties, initiated on September 22, 2004, an antidumping administrative review on oil country tubular goods (OCTG), except drill pipes, imported from South Korea. The review covered two manufacturers/exporters: Husteel Co. Ltd and SeAH Steel Corporation. The period of review was August 1, 2003, through July 31, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that both Husteel and SeAH made sales below normal value. The following weighted-average dumping margins exist for the period August 1, 2003, through July 31, 2004:Producer Margin SeAH Steel Corporation...................3.91 percent Husteel Co, Ltd.........................12.30 percentThe current respective dumping deposit rates for Husteel and SeAH are 12.17 percent and 1.56 percent. Those rates will remain in effect until the final results are issued.
